What’s the Difference Between Glam Glow Youthmud and Supermud?

“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.”

But it is 6th already and welcome to the new weekend of October! I am so excited with this month because it is actually going closer to my birthday. Haha! However, I would be showing you the other product of Glam Glow which is Supermud.

Actually this time I am more into going to expose the review of Glam Glow Supermud but no need to worry! You can check out the previous review about Glam Glow Youthmud before or after this one.

Black and White. To be honest I have not figured out the philosophy why the color is black, why the color is white. If we use our logic, something about youth is supposed to be something bright not dark because we are chasing bright future precisely and something about super is supposed to be something dark not bright, umm like batman because super? Haha! Never mind these thoughts, but one thing that I could figure out and see the clear difference is its scent. And something the same is the chunky textures you find inside which is real tea leafs.

Most people say Glam Glow Masks are a “facial in a bottle“, and I guess I am buying it. The after effect I always have after using it has always been fresher, smoother, and softer than ever which is perfectly amazing. As you can see from the picture, the mask color of Supermud is actually much darker and its texture is more slushy but dense. Have a closer look here,

Glam Glow Supermud is also known best for those who want to draw out of their acnes and this is also best for anti-aging mask. The application itself is still the same like the Youthmud, I usually leave it for about 15 minutes and rinse it with water.

The mask that I wear above is Supermud. That is how it looks when it has dried, and if you take a little closer by zooming in the picture to my nose, you can see that the mask is working well because of the oil are being extracted from my pores. However if you have never used Glam Glow Masks before, don’t freak out if your skin seems to feel burned and tingled. That is clearly normal and that is how it works. However you know your skin, if it feels more burned on your skin, you better rinse it off.

To sum it up, the difference between Glam Glow Youthmud and Supermud is just its goods and physical look. For physical look, you have seen the difference from its texture, color, and scent. And for the goods itself, Youthmud is for anti-aging benefits and I believe that is why it is called “Youthmud” and Supermud is best to draw out the small blackheads and acnes. However both of them are best for anti-aging benefits. Therefore, I would recommend you guys if you don’t have any troubles with your skin, you better use Youthmud and if you have, Supermud is best for you.

I hope you find this review helpful. Personally, I love using Glam Glow Masks because I totally can feel the result after using it since I like instant stuffs. Haha! However it is better used for 3 times in a week for a better result. Before ending this article, there is a fun trivia about Youthmud where actually the mud base itself is from South of France Mediterranean Sea and that is why it is pretty expensive but worth to try.

Have you tried one of these before? Do you like it? Share your thoughts below and have a great weekend! Xx

Is GlamGlow YouthMud Mask Worth the Price?

Self-Treatment has been one of the most crucial things that someone has to add in their weekend list. Why so? Because if you treat yourself right, self-pleasure will follow anyway.

Before heading to the main content regarding the GlamGlow Tinglexfoliate Treatment, I would like to share my interesting conversation I had with a guy friend of mine yesterday.

“I don’t like seeing girls in make-up, they look like clowns and honestly, it takes so high costs for their treatment. We, boys, only like girls who look properly good in dresses and that’s enough. What do they expect from us as guys?”

I only smiled and replied him by adding about self-pleasure. I believe we are all people have different perspective about wearing make-up. Especially me, as a woman, believes that wearing make-up and grooming is not only about dress to impress, I like to take myself in proper maintenance because I love myself. Imagine when we love something, we tend to take care of it because we avoid to get it damaged. And that simply happens to ourselves, we take care of ourselves by grooming and wearing make-up occasionally because we love ourselves. Therefore, I just wanted to change people’s mindset about women who like wearing make-up and dress properly, we do that because we care about ourselves.

Okay, so that’s enough for the opening statement, I guess shall we start with my first experience with GlamGlow?

GlamGlow has been a hype product in the beauty world. I was curious so I bought a set of GlamGlow from Sephora for around $65 with mud foam included.

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

The texture of GlamGlow itself is definitely not like scrubs but mud. The mud itself has pretty strong minty scent which I found it appealing. As I applied a thin layer on my skin, just like its name “Tinglexfoliate Treatment”, I could feel it tingling yet burning on my face. I highly recommend you to not apply it around your eyes even your eye bags because your skin in that area will feel burnt than ever. I honestly found it uncomfortable on my face, I let it dry for almost 15 minutes.

Actually the mud dries faster because it would dry already for approximately in 8 minutes. As it was completely dry, I barely could move my skin. Just don’t laugh or smile because your skin was being extracted and it would cause your skin wrinkled sooner. So, you better don’t.

I immediately washed my face gently. As I finished, I felt my skin tighter and smoother. The mud really did the great job in extracting the oil on my face. Overall, I loved this product though it kinda tortured me while applying it. I think I’ll be sticking to it.

Have you tried GlamGlow YouthMud? What do you think?
