Beatitude

November Beatitude 2017

November has come to an end. And actually, it is December already.

I guess it is too late to post November Beatitude 2017 but it is still a mandatory to me because I had to? Absolutely yes!

I would say November was like a rollercoaster where there were some ups and downs yet I had to enjoy the ride no matter what because the seatbelt was on or I could have fallen. I am really grateful to see people that have come into my life, and those somehow who appeared there to be a part of my rollercoaster life from distance. I have always believed that things happen for a reason, if I still cannot find the reason then probably it has to take another episode to find it.

I guess that is enough for the introduction about how my November went like, in this weekend’s post I will be showing you the things that I enjoyed the most in November. Let’s get started with this one,

IMG_0350

If you remember this line, then I think you are obviously an admirer of Paulo Coelho, especially his phenomenal book The Alchemist.

IMG_0346

If you want something, the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. Since then, I have always believed that every single dream that I wish for, the universe is listening as long as I keep working on it. I am so glad a friend of mine recommended me this book because honestly this book has changed the way I see about life and always encourage me to keep on believing.

IMG_0351

Meditation helps when your head is weary. If life gives you lemon, then I think you should refresh your mind with something relaxing. I always have this simmering liquid aromatherapy from Breathe.

IMG_0349

I simply turn the bedroom lights off, then turn on the electric aromatherapy oil burner. Not to forget that I have to pour a few drops of Sandalwood Liquid. Sandalwood has always been my favorite aroma because it more smells like soap which somehow gives you the feeling that you have showered but actually not.

IMG_0352

Last but not least, I actually still have another one beatitude which I think it has always been a mandatory since the beginning. My November hymn! I found this song on Connor Franta’s Spotify Playlist and somehow truly in love with the whole of this song either from the lyrics or the music. Check out her live performance here,

I love the way she sings the song with her heart, it looks purely written and it somehow has deep meaning for Betty. I love listening to it when I am alone, especially with my aromatherapy turned on, it feels really perfect.

So, that’s how I enjoyed my November so far. Little things that everyone likes must have some meaning behind it and I think that’s how we can appreciate something. What are your favorite things in November? I hope this last month of 2017 will bring you joy that you deserve. Have a great weekend! 🙂

VSCO Filters That Fashion Bloggers Use On Instagram 2.0

Hello, Instagram Endeavors!

So glad to be back to the weekend realizing today is the second day of September! Yet also, I wanted to celebrate the most hit article with over 11.000 reads on my blog which is VSCO Filters That Fashion Bloggers Use On Instagram. As celebration I finally created another secret VSCO Filters for your weekly reference in building your own aesthetic feed on Instagram. Let’s get started with the first fashion blogger.

Lydia Elisse Emilen (@lydiaemillen)

IMG_2911

Lydia has always been my favorite fashion blogger. All of her contents always look very sophisticated. Her feed has a lot of touch of pastels and pinks which brighten the picture she posts on Instagram. Based on my analysis, you may follow her editing skill using VSCO by using these patterns,

Ali Gordon (@aligordon89)

IMG_2922

The funny thing is, I really adore this couple. Ali is Lydia’s fiance and they will be getting married shortly and they are such a good pair. Ali has quite orangish and bluish filter on his posts, similar to posts and videos by Mike Visual and Ryan Nangle. If you love the filters that Ali has, you may follow this VSCO patterns below,

IMG_2948

Cher Bai (@chermycloset)

IMG_2937

Blackish filter that everyone loves and very suits for buildings in Europe which gives a little touch of vintage and medieval. I have always admired Cher’s style and her kinda dark filters give her posts look more sophisticated. If you are interested to have a dark yet look a little bright with pretty high contrast, you may follow this VSCO pattern below,

IMG_2946

Sooo, that’s all I have for this weekend! Honestly I have been pretty occupied lately and it kinda got me a bit stressful but I definitely will always try to stick on my schedule to always post every weekend indeed. I am sorry that I had to postpone the August Beatitude 2017 until next weekend but I guarantee I got mesmerizing things that could inspire your weekend. Thank you so much for checking out this post, I hope you like it and it would be a great hit like the previous one. Have a great weekend! Xx

7 Caption Personalities You Should Try on Instagram

Never have you ever feel flustered or even anxious to think about the perfect caption for your Instagram picture? Or maybe you are confused to decide what kind of personality you have for a caption on Instagram?

Worry No More!

I have tons of ideas to inspire your creativity in writing captions on Instagram and I am pretty sure you will be head over heels in love with them. Well, hopefully. However! There is only one thing to bear in mind that captions on Instagram are better relatable to the picture you upload. I have seen a lot of people posting pictures (e.g: selfie with duck face) but their caption says something opposite (e.g: broken heart quotes) –which I find it irritating.

You are a beautiful creature with a beautiful mind, I have always wanted to see that everyone is aware with that. Why sharing hatred and sorrow if you are still able to share happiness. Here are seven personalities that may inspire your writing proficiency on Instagram pictures:

1. The Poet

Who says poems are only for melancholic people? Not at all. If you have tons of vocabularies in your head, recognize those words from Shakespeare, or even have 3 or more language proficiencies, then poems might be good for you since I believe you can play with words. Sometimes I like to write poetic captions but I do not want my Instagram audience to interpret me as a melancholic blogger, thus I make fun of the poem in the end.

2. The Joker

Don’t take pictures too serious. It might have philosophy or metaphor or anything but seriously, chill. You only need to see every inch of the picture you have whether there is something to be mocked at or not. If there is, make fun of it and let your friends’ comments rolling on the box.

I swear my eyes were opened👀

3. The Forecaster

Remember that basic conversation you mostly have with a stranger? Something that talks about how hot or rainy the day is. Well you can put that to your caption. Go outside, take a picture and tell your followers how perplexed you are with the weather and be the forecaster of your own state of mind.

I have no idea whether this picture represents summer or winter or autumn or spring.

4. The Story Teller

Seriously, we mostly do not do things on purpose but somehow it happens because it happens. If you ever have those kind of moments, you can write them as caption and engage your followers’ attention about how weird your day has been.

5. The Stargazer

Cassiopeia, Canopus, Alnilam, Castor, and every single star or constellation you have ever heard. If you are that kind of person who likes to gaze at the moonlight and the starry skies in the middle of the night, pick one constellation and tell them how you feel about it. Or if you have a crush on someone, you may correlate it a little with the touch of metaphor.

It was dusk, too late for sunset, too early for stars

6. The Food Enthusiast

Food porns on Instagram, totally common! But that’s how it works. This is a phase where people let the foods chill because they are busy to take picture of it for 15 minutes. However, that’s the way it is. I usually give a caption about how tasty or bad the food is and/or even mock at my own hypocrisy.

when salad hits you hard🍀

7. The Reviewer

When you love something, you share. When you hate something, you share. Basically, you are either reviewing your own life or someone’s life. But in this case, I am going to show my reviewer attitude towards a cafe I visited. It depends on how informative you want yourself to be but please bear in mind that Social Media ethic does exist.

That’s all I can get for you, guys! I compiled those captions on my Instagram which I thought it could widen your inspiration to be more creative yet enticing to attract more engagement of your followers. Remember that what you write is what you are in people’s perspective from social media. Then spread the love instead of hatred and sorrow. Have a nice weekend, guys! 🙂

How To Take Instagrammable Picture of Your Shoes

Remember the hashtag of #FromWhereIStand? Correct. This is where people engrave their creativity on taking picture of their shoes. And today, I’m going to tell you how I do it.

Mostly of my pictures on Instagram are mostly the picture of my shoes, the pictures of where I stand. I’ve been having a knack of taking picture of shoes since high school. Until one of my friends 0nce said, “Shoes. As always,”.

People might think that taking picture of shoes or legs is a piece of cake. But actually, not at all. You need to find the art in your picture. I won’t distinct people with the experts, amateurs or beginners. In my opinion, the skill of taking picture is grown by how often you do it until you could learn how to take the best picture in time. Basically, theses are pictures of my #FromWhereIStand,

I like putting the touch of nature to one of my favorite converses. Flowers, woods and leaves are few of those common things that I am really fond of.

Besides showing your shoes off, taking picture of #FromWhereIStand could also help you to show your bottom apparel, not limited to such as trousers, skirts, bags, scarfs or even watches.

Last but not least, don’t forget to look around the floor that you find artsy. There are some unique pattern of floors like I found above and I didn’t forget to take a few seconds for a picture, because who would regret it? 🙂

7 Photo Editors I Have On My Phone

A cake wouldn’t look pretty without icing, and so is a photo. A photo wouldn’t look beautiful without filter.

I like spending my free time editing pictures on my phone, creating new filters on my own and enjoy the beauty. Besides editing pictures, I absolutely like taking pictures. People think I use SLR/DSLR camera or any other expensive ones because the quality of my posts on instagram look very clear. Actually I only use my old Sony CyberShot Digital Camera with 10.1 megapixel, but I’m still saving to get the new one so I can do vlogging 🙂

Here are my favorite 10 photo editors I use on my phone,

technobuffalocom

VSCOCAM

It must be the most popular one, I think you already know about this one better than me, eh? Tumblr girls mostly use this app for their pictures.

makrdotco

Afterlight

The dusty effect and polaroid frame are the favorite ones from this app. I love the filters but honestly not as much as I do with the filters by vscocam.

theiospostdotsquarespacecom

Snapseed

I think this one more fits with photographers or the ones who tend to use lack of filter or maybe not even use any filters. It’s better to adjust the brightness, contrast, highlights and stuff using snapseed because I think their quality is way higher than any other apps.

PicsArt-iPhone5-2

PicsArt

The most useful one, I think this app is like windows 8 because everything at once. It has a lot of features, such as various filters, stickers, frames, background and many more. I usually edit my pic to get mirror effect with picsart.

fragmentexamples

Fragment

To the ones who like prismatic photo effects, I think this one is good for you.

anightowlblogcom

Rhonna Designs

This one is my favorite to make ads for my giveaway. You can immediately go to this app to add some cool quotes after editing your pic on Fragment, so tumblr!

screen568x568

Polypic

Make amazing and beautiful photos by various polygons! And also, if you want to blur something, this app is the right one. Never thought blurry pictures could be finally called fine art.

So, those are my favorite photo editors I always use to edit my pictures before uploading them on ig. But most of the time, I use VSCOCAM. Kindly follow my instagram ( @pranichia ) to also get the latest updates of stylebychia!

VSCO Filters That Fashion Bloggers Use On Instagram

Have you been thinking about what filter that your favorite fashion bloggers use for their pictures on Instagram? This time, I am going to reveal three classified VSCO filters that these fashion bloggers (whom I like) always use on instagram.

So I’ve been keeping up with VSCOCAM by drowning my skill into its nitty gritty. Isn’t it so boring to see the same old filter such as F2, SE3, HB1, HB2, etc without any retouch and that’s it. Then I’ve finally found a few awesome patterns which I think these patterns are quite but surely similar with the filters that these fashion bloggers always use on Instagram, okay so let’s get started!

1. Andy Torres (@stylescrapbook)

Her posts on instagram are always adorable which always make people say “her pictures are goddess!”.

HB1 doesn’t look good for dark pictures but looks good for selfies. As you can see on Andy’s pictures, the original pictures of its filter is bright already, so if you want to restart your instagram feed with this filter, I suggest you to take more bright pictures.

2. Nicole Ciotti (@nicholeciotti)

Nicole’s pictures on instagram look reddish and bright. It’s also because of her reddish hair and the effect of the filter she uses, I assume she uses SE2 or C1 preset on vscocam.

C1 looks good for selfies if you add a little bit of exposure around +1 or +2 and lowering the sharpness of C1 preset from +12 to +6 or +7.

3. Gizele Oliveira (@giizeleoliveira)

Looks fade and reddish without a touch of contrast. I assume she uses F2 for her pictures.

F2 might give different result for particular skin color since its high contrast with a little touch of fade could make your skin darker or probably brighter. This filter pattern looks perfect for summer pictures.

What do you think about these filters? I hope you find them useful!

Take some great pictures, try to use one of these filters and take a chance to be like these fashion bloggers too. Before taking my cue to leave, check out a short documentary film of mine to check out the color grading in video I usually use for vlog,

Hope you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching x
