Believe It or Not, I Wore This Outfit Twice

Isn’t it really common for travelers to always wear the same outfit twice or even thrice?

Well probably not for legit fashionista. I wore this outfit twice but only with different scarf. The most interesting is, I totally wore it in the day I went to Bangkok and so did they day I left. Perhaps this is my signature outfit anyway.

IMG_1423

Here it is, me, wearing this outfit, twice. Looks quite complicated yet very comfy! I have always loved wearing this coat from Paper Scissors, a local Australian brand which I have also admired because of their casual-with-a-twist designs.

IMG_1422.JPG

The scarf that I am wearing is really easy to wear. I only had to adjust the edge of the scarf so it can pass over the top of my forehead, with the sides draping over my shoulders. Adjust the scarf so that one side hangs down twice as low as the other. Lastly I only had to wrap the long end of the scarf around my chin and over my head then drape the end of the scarf over my opposite shoulder. Voila, you are gonna hit the nail on the head right away!

IMG_1421

This cat eye glasses is totally the cheapest glasses I have ever found! It only costed for ฿200 and you could totally rock any outfit that you like. The other accessories I had there is that pink peacock goldy ring. That is not the real name but I just like naming stuffs. I got it in Siam Paragon around ฿350. Super cheap and very stylishly ethnic.

IMG_1420.JPG

Last but not least, my favorite JanSport bag. This bag might look small but you have no idea how many stuffs I could put inside, totally a lot! This black Super FX had always been my good friend while traveling in Thailand.

You can use my code "JSCHIA10"
to get 10% off for all items on JanSport.

Not only that, my favorite ripped blue jeans from Stradivarius also has an important role in rocking this outfit including my leopard sneakers from Autograph.

img_1420.jpg

Seeing a little closer to the accessories I am wearing. I have my minimalistic Guess watch, pink embroidered bracelet from Semoet Ketjil, and leather bracelet from The Executive. They are totally my lovely little things that always enhance my look. Thus, never ignore the power of accessories when you cannot afford jewelries. Haha!

That’s all I have for this weekend, I hope this blogpost can give you inspiration for your weekly preference. Speaking of wearing it twice, is it stinky? Haha, you are funny. Totally it is!

Seriously?

No I am absolutely joking. I definitely do not wear it for outside walks since the sun in Thailand is quite evil and moreover, we have laundry too so no worries. Besides that, actually I really made quite big transformation today, I totally have tanned skin now as you can see from these pictures above. Not gonna be so regretful but I am really happy that I can deal with it gracefully. And I hope you can embrace yours too, anything that you are dealing with right now, I hope you can embrace it with open heart. Have a great weekend!

Smart Casual Outfit with Pink Magenta Bag You Can Rock Every Day!

First selfie on the cover image! That’s quite phenomenal because I never did it before. Haha!

This time I will be showing you how I rock a bright color bag. I have received so many complaints from my friends that they are confused of what outfit to wear when they have bright color bags thus they just play it safe by purchasing another bag with universal colors. Black? Perfectly true.

I always think sometimes we need to live out of the comfort zone because if we keep being busy swimming in the same pool, the more we grow up, the narrower the pool will be. I think my analogy for that one quite sucks but I believe you get my point. Okay, enough with the talks, here I will show you one of my favorite bright prominent color bag, Pink Magenta from Michael Kors!

IMG_2001

Truthfully, I forgot what type of bag that I am wearing here but it surely is Michael Kors which my sister bought for me in Singapore. I really love this bag because its color is very brave which people would notice right away. Because of that, I decided to match up the super flashy color of the bag with something pastel and calmer color.

IMG_2003

The blue and white stripes shirt I am wearing is Abercrombie & Fitch, I really like wearing this shirt to uni because it feels really comfortable and light to wear. The watch I am wearing is Alba.

IMG_2004

And here is my favorite ripped jeans from Stradivarius and glistening flat shoes from The Executive. I got a very special offer for the flat shoes which I really fancy. I don’t play too much with colors on my clothing because I want my bag to lead the show all alone because if there is too many colors, people’s attention will get distracted and flustered whether to focus on the bag or the clothes.

Therefore, the ball is in your hand. For me, when I mix and match outfit, I always try to focus on one bright color that should be the spotlight. I understand that we all want to look stunning but frankly, no one really cares. Sometimes if you work it out too much, it will be too much for people too. Make your own runaway and try to play with colors. Oh, and you actually can make your look more glamorous by adding some jewelry.

IMG_2002

If you see it closer, I am wearing a super heavy glistening silver necklace which I only got for 5$ in Australia. Most of my friends thought it was pricey but actually not at all. Thus it all depends on how you present it.

I hope this blogpost will profoundly inspire your fashion insight for your weekly preference. What prominent color that you like to be your spotlight? Let me know what you think on the comment below and have a great day!

Can You Believe This Outfit Has No Brand At All?

Hello, Peeps! Back again with me in the first weekend of February. I hope January treated you well like it did to me. In the last couple of days, I went to meet up some old friends and accompanied my uni friends in Bandung for a staycation.

And right now, I will be showing you an outfit that I accidentally found in my old wardrobe and I also will be telling you a secret that this outfit ain’t from Zara or Massimo Dutti or Sacoor or any other brands you know.

So, I found this black pants that I left in my old dusty wardrobe at home. I was in a rush and there was no pants left for me to wear thus I dag and messed the whole wardrobe then happened to find it in a very good condition.

This is a pants that I forgot where I got it but my sister gave a year ago. This is not a branded one but it is really comfy and somehow still fits in my body. And this is what I call magical!

For the top outfit, I do still remember because I bought it myself in a fashion bazaar. I truly love the tied knot it has in the bottom of the blouse because it really enhances the outfit without trying.

And voila! I matched the two clothings that both have no brand and transformed them into one of the most trending outfit nowadays. How can I do that? I believe this is not an achievement that I don’t need to be proud of but a creativity that I think everyone can be able to try.

If you want to enhance your unbranded outfit, you may mix it up with accessories, shoes, and/or bag from brands that you like and have excellent quality to enhance your outfit.

I decided to enhance my outfit with my favorite sling bag from Guess and a cat eye glasses from New Look. Those little things might look unnecessary but I think that’s how fashion works, add some unnecessary things and rock with them!

Last but not least, my current favorite golden and brown leather bracelets. I got them from The Executive which price is very affordable. Those little things are truly kind of something that I always admire and like to wear.

So, that’s how I spent my weekend in February! And also, I believe you are also waiting for the January Beatitude 2018. Well I hope?

The January Beatitude 2018 will be up tomorrow and get ready for another weekly preference so you can spice up the way you live the life. I hope this blogpost can inspire you that no matter what brand and how expensive the clothes you wear, it depends on how you represent the outfit in front of the others and most of all, how you rock it with confidence. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Eco-Friendly Outfit Collections in Jakarta Fashion Week 2018

Happy Weekend, Guys! We are almost in the end of October, which means Halloween is on its way to come thought my country does not celebrate Halloween but I love the idea of Horror movies are rolling on Fox Channel. Haha!

So, I was invited by Cotton Ink, a local fashion brand from Indonesia to come to Jakarta Fashion Week 2018 at Grazia Glitz and Glam Show last week. Since I have often heard about Grazia Magazine, it made more excited to see the show.

Since the theme is “Divas in Music”, I was actually going to wear something more colorful but in the end, I decided to go back to my own fashion zone. Monochrome, as always.

I totally love my cape coat I got from Ciel. Although this cape was meant to show my collarbone and arm, since I wear hijab, I wore a blouse with bell sleeve from The Executive and trouser suit from Color Box. To elevate my super monochrome outfit, I wore a chunky necklace I got somewhere in Australia and my all time favorite high heels from Nine West. Not to forget my favorite black and white Tote Bag from Kate Spade New York.

The show should had been started around 5 pm but turned out at 6.30 pm. The delay was super outrageous since there were not seats at all and all guests were somehow wanted to stand, socialize, and drink.

IMG_4166

However the long line up was truly worth the wait after the show had been started. The front lines were full with designers and public figures. Most of the people in the tent were mostly invited privately.

IMG_4174

First show started with the collection of Rinda Salmun. The gothic style she was inspired from Madonna made the ambience more exciting. I spotted Wulan Guritno in a long white sleeve which covered her hands over there. I loved her make up.

And here are the designs from Kleting Titis Wigati who owns Kle The Label. The shown outfits were the results of Kle’s collaboration with Avani. The woman with big red outer in the first picture is the best look for me!

IMG_4168

And here is the one that I have told in the beginning, the collection of Nonita Respati from Purana Indonesia is the one that could show its point of difference. The outerwear itself is made from Cassava bag with quilted sew. These collections were inspired by the look of Gwen Stefani.

Now this is the collection from Cotton Ink. All designs were inspired from Kylie Minogue. Carline Darjanto and Ria Sarwono, as founder of Cotton Ink showed some sleeveless trench outer, ruffle skirt, baby terry dress with bubbly sleeve, and palazzo trouser.

Last but not least, collections from Luna Maya with the collaboration of Hartono Gan were inspired from the look of Beyonce. The show was started with Millane Fernandez’s performance singing “Single Ladies”.

Soo, that was the updates of how fashion has grown so far in Jakarta Fashion Week 2018. Recalling that Climate Change issue has been growing rapidly, sometimes it is good to know that fashion is also taking part in combating the issue by implementing eco-friendly materials.

Which one is your favorite from the collection above? and what would you do to combat climate change? I think the last question is too academical but just share your thoughts in the comment below. Have a great weekend!

Street Style Idea: Rock Your Ripped Jeans

Hello! Ripped jeans is becoming hype again after all those years. Remember the mural trends that used to be worn by old fashioned people where this artwork is usually painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other permanent surface but now all fashion bloggers are so into it because mural is now available on apparels!

But I am not going to talk about mural trend. I am going to talk about something else as you have noticed that the title is not talking about mural. Heh!

Isn’t it funny when sometimes your friends or family make fun of your ripped jeans by saying, “Were you chased by a dog?”; “Or were you almost eaten by a dog?”.

Oh my! Thank you so much for your caring. Appreciate it so much.

Instead of bluffing about how your close people make fun of your ripped jeans, let’s get started with the way how to rock your ripped jeans!

img_3111

Leather blazer and ripped jeans are always the best companion for my day out every weekend! Very casual and I barely put a lot of effort on it. This leather blazer might have been seen on my previous blogpost in the Afternoon Coffee at Giyanti Coffee Jakarta.

I am wearing this brown leather blazer from Zara, brown fine leather from Fossil, and a small black backpack from Pedro. These stuff might have also been featured earlier, but I would like to show you how I did mix and match with the new stuff I got here which is the ripped jeans I have from Stradivarius.

The aviator glasses that look like Ray Ban there is Tom Ford which I like the most and it looks very sophisticated. I completely love the design. And the shoes I am wearing is actually the mural shoes! Yay the trend that I mentioned earlier in the introduction is pretty useful, eh? I got it from Stradivarius. And look at what I found here, a very rare peacock that was open for picture! So cute!

So, that’s all for this weekend. I have been loving this ripped jeans so much though some people say that hijabis are not supposed to wear ripped jeans and supposed to wear something modest. That sounds a bit contrast with what I do but that sounds pretty great for the next discussion on my next blogpost. How do you rock ripped jeans? Tell me what you think and share your ideas with the world! Have a great weekend💙

Monochromatic Outfit in Spanish-Mexican Sphere

Hello! I hope you guys are having great weekend like I am right now. In the past few days, I spent most of my time strolling around Bandung with my lovely friends and it was totally the time I had so much fun of.

This time I’m going to bring you guys to one of the newest cafe in Bandung. The name is La Costilla!

A new Spanish-Mexican cafe with alluring sphere for insta-addicts. But I am going to tell you neither about the foods nor the cafe. Oops! Later!

I went there with my highschool friends and I decided to wear monochromatic outfit since the ambience seems kind of whitey and bluish.

And a little touch of rustic patterns for my trouser which I bought from H&M since the location seems quite rustic because of its name, La Costilla which means The Ribs? I guess so..

Full of white and perfect lighting! And they also have mini cactus backyard for insta-addicts, just like me.

If I could have stayed longer, the cactus behind my back would have shown its green light and lightened my white top from The Executive.

Believe it or not, the floral door behind my back is a way to the restrooms. I hope there was no one inside as I was blocking the way. Hehe!

Another door to the secret hermitage. Curious what’s in there? How I wish my black little bag like Lara Croft’s from Pedro had enough tools to break in.

These cactuses ain’t like in Sahara! As I stepped my shiny flat shoes from The Executive, I found out the grounds were covered with white little pebbles and sands to make the ambience looks more rustic.

So, that was my journey in the mini backyard of La Costille. Honestly I am a kind of person who always tries to match the outfit based on the place or ocassion I am going to and that is a pleasure for sure!

Thank you so much for reading and stopping by, I hope you always have a great weekend. Share your weekend with me in the comment below and tell me the most exciting time you’ve ever spent in your weekend! 🙂

How to Wear Casual Floral Bomber Jacket Formally

Floral patterns have been a hype these days, you probably have seen it a lot on t-shirts, shoes, shirts, bags, and bomber jackets indeed. This time, I am going to show you how I wear floral bomber jackets combined with formal attire.

So I have been having a knack in wearing formal attire in these last few days but at the same time, I also want to feel comfy with what I am wearing. This is one of the outfits that I think it looks casual yet also formal at the same time. How? Floral bomber jacket is the best answer I guess.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

I got my floral bomber jacket from Stradivarius, I utterly had a love at first sight with this jacket.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

I combined the outfit with a little touch of glowing goldy color. I have always loved golden colors since it gives a little touch of luxury in any outfit that you wear. I am wearing a golden sling bag from Charles and Keith, watch by Fossil, and a triplet stone ring from New Look.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

Whereas for in the bottom part, I am wearing a green army petite pants from New Look and flat shoes from Mango.

Honestly, you can rock anything that you have in your wardrobe with floral bomber jacket. I dare to say it is a must item because it truly upgrades your outfit to the next level, no matter how effortless you want your outfit to be, it will still look perfect in no time.

That’s all I have for today’s blogpost. I am truly sorry for being so inactive these days, I actually had a lot of things to share with you guys but my desire in writing has been being on and off lately. I hate this either but I am definitely working on to eradicate this kind of such thing. Thank you for bumping to this page, have a great weekend, dears! ❤

New Year’s Tropical Eve Party at Ocha & Bella

Happy New Year 2017!

I hope you guys had a great year in 2016 and I wish you tons of luck for the next 12 months. Cheers for bright future!!

It’s been a while I had not posted a blog-post since decades perhaps and I am truly sorry for that since college has been hitting me really hard lately. But it’s now 2017! Forget about the past because you now have a blank paper to write on with new things. Well, this time before welcoming 2017, I would like to share some little experience I had in the last two hours of 2016.

_________

I had a chance to attend the Tropical New Year BBQ Party at the restaurant of Morissey Hotel, Ocha & Bella, accompanied by my sister as usual. The ambience was very Hawaiian since all the staffs were wearing floral shirts and casual short pants. Whereas I decided to look more different than the others, black and white outfit as usual.

img_8293

I wore knit dress from Mango, followed by black trouser by Suite Blanco. And for the headscarf and accessories from The Executive. Last but not least, sling bag and high heels are from Charles and Keith.

The party went really fun until my sister’s coupon number was called and happened to receive the lucky draw. She won a dine-in voucher worth for 500 IDR. Later after that, my coupon number was called too. I didn’t even notice what gift I was actually receiving but when I came up to the stage, they handed me a bottle of white wine as a gift. If only I could drink, I might decide to open table for all the attendants here.

We savored the tropical party until the clock pointed at 12. Everyone stood up, blew the trumpets loudly and kissed each other. Very romantic for those who brought their partner. Very romantic.

img_8306

So, that’s how I spent the new year’s eve of 2017. Everyone was outside enjoying the fireworks, hoping for magnificent moments to happen in 2017. I hope everyone had so much fun in the new year’s eve. Once again, happy new year 2017! 🙂

Casual Day Outfit

In this weekend’s blogpost, I would like to share how I rock outerwear (again). Perhaps, I have shared about how I rock my no-sleeve outerwear but this one is actually one of my favorite outfits which also suit for college or casual day out!

To me, outerwear is a piece of clothing that could embellish the casualty of my outfit. Imagine a girl wears a white shirt and jeans only, but when she puts an any kind of outerwear, her style has somehow been improved. And that’s why I am truly fond of this piece of clothing.

So, I went for lunch with friends last week. I had no idea what to wear since I didn’t have many clothes in my luggage. I kept searching and thinking about what I should wear that day. I only found a loose black tank top, loose black trouser and a knit brown outerwear. Since that discovery, I matched them into one outfit.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

It was the outfit that I hardly kept on thinking since the remaining clothes that I had was far from many. The loose black tank top and trouser looks like in the same piece, doesn’t it? I only needed to tucked the loose black tank top in the trouser and an-almost-look-alike-jumpsuit is done.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

The combination of tank top and trouser are from Cotton On (tank-top) and Colorbox (trouser). The knit outerwear that I am wearing is from H&M and the flat-shoes that I am fond of is by mango. Because I was a little bored with sling bags, I decided to wear pouch bag that I got somewhere in Penang, Malaysia. For the accessories, I only wore a watch by Alba and those cuty-tiny bracelets that you could get for 1$ – 3$ each at Cotton On.

That’s how my discovery went by when I was running out of clothes in luggage, I hope this blog-post is inspiring enough for your inspiration in dressing up. Have a great weekend! 🙂

Afternoon in La Couleur Verte

Green is the color between blue and yellow.
And I am a creature between the grown leaves on the wall and the paving block.

In this weekend’s blog-post, I wanted to share how I usually create my own hijab style.

People might call me with an ‘outer-person’. Because that’s how I rock my style since I have decided to wear hijab. It has been a year to me for wearing hijab where all of my skins are covered up with cloth. The reason why I like wearing outerwear (ex: jackets, sweaters, hoodies, blazers, coats, etc) because I think a woman can wear anything they want as long as the clothes they wear don’t really fit their shape of body. Although some people say that wearing outerwear is complicated and uncomfy but to me, it describes me.

P stands for preferential because you are special.

In this picture, it might look like I am wearing a jumpsuit but actually not. It is a separated outfit where I’m wearing long black top by The Executive and a long loose trouser by Colorbox. And for the glasses, I am wearing Le Specs. It is currently my favorite one.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

And for the outer, I am wearing white outerwear by New Look. And for the flat-shoes by Mango.

That’s all for today’s blog-post! I hope my look for this weekend could inspire your style in wearing hijab. I am an outer-person, what about you? 🙂
