How to Wear Casual Floral Bomber Jacket Formally

Floral patterns have been a hype these days, you probably have seen it a lot on t-shirts, shoes, shirts, bags, and bomber jackets indeed. This time, I am going to show you how I wear floral bomber jackets combined with formal attire.

So I have been having a knack in wearing formal attire in these last few days but at the same time, I also want to feel comfy with what I am wearing. This is one of the outfits that I think it looks casual yet also formal at the same time. How? Floral bomber jacket is the best answer I guess.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

I got my floral bomber jacket from Stradivarius, I utterly had a love at first sight with this jacket.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

I combined the outfit with a little touch of glowing goldy color. I have always loved golden colors since it gives a little touch of luxury in any outfit that you wear. I am wearing a golden sling bag from Charles and Keith, watch by Fossil, and a triplet stone ring from New Look.

Whereas for in the bottom part, I am wearing a green army petite pants from New Look and flat shoes from Mango.

Honestly, you can rock anything that you have in your wardrobe with floral bomber jacket. I dare to say it is a must item because it truly upgrades your outfit to the next level, no matter how effortless you want your outfit to be, it will still look perfect in no time.

That’s all I have for today’s blogpost. I am truly sorry for being so inactive these days, I actually had a lot of things to share with you guys but my desire in writing has been being on and off lately. I hate this either but I am definitely working on to eradicate this kind of such thing. Thank you for bumping to this page, have a great weekend, dears! ❤

Is GlamGlow YouthMud Mask Worth the Price?

Self-Treatment has been one of the most crucial things that someone has to add in their weekend list. Why so? Because if you treat yourself right, self-pleasure will follow anyway.

Before heading to the main content regarding the GlamGlow Tinglexfoliate Treatment, I would like to share my interesting conversation I had with a guy friend of mine yesterday.

“I don’t like seeing girls in make-up, they look like clowns and honestly, it takes so high costs for their treatment. We, boys, only like girls who look properly good in dresses and that’s enough. What do they expect from us as guys?”

I only smiled and replied him by adding about self-pleasure. I believe we are all people have different perspective about wearing make-up. Especially me, as a woman, believes that wearing make-up and grooming is not only about dress to impress, I like to take myself in proper maintenance because I love myself. Imagine when we love something, we tend to take care of it because we avoid to get it damaged. And that simply happens to ourselves, we take care of ourselves by grooming and wearing make-up occasionally because we love ourselves. Therefore, I just wanted to change people’s mindset about women who like wearing make-up and dress properly, we do that because we care about ourselves.

Okay, so that’s enough for the opening statement, I guess shall we start with my first experience with GlamGlow?

GlamGlow has been a hype product in the beauty world. I was curious so I bought a set of GlamGlow from Sephora for around $65 with mud foam included.

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

The texture of GlamGlow itself is definitely not like scrubs but mud. The mud itself has pretty strong minty scent which I found it appealing. As I applied a thin layer on my skin, just like its name “Tinglexfoliate Treatment”, I could feel it tingling yet burning on my face. I highly recommend you to not apply it around your eyes even your eye bags because your skin in that area will feel burnt than ever. I honestly found it uncomfortable on my face, I let it dry for almost 15 minutes.

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

Actually the mud dries faster because it would dry already for approximately in 8 minutes. As it was completely dry, I barely could move my skin. Just don’t laugh or smile because your skin was being extracted and it would cause your skin wrinkled sooner. So, you better don’t.

I immediately washed my face gently. As I finished, I felt my skin tighter and smoother. The mud really did the great job in extracting the oil on my face. Overall, I loved this product though it kinda tortured me while applying it. I think I’ll be sticking to it.

Have you tried GlamGlow YouthMud? What do you think?

8 Things I Desperately Should Have in My Bag

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

Should I take this? Should I take that? or Should I take them all?

Yes, I know this feeling too well! Sometimes I also end up taking all things that I thought would probably be crucial but actually not. But it was me before I started to realize what I should really keep in my bag all the time. I got 10 things from the most prioritized to less, so here they are!

1. Wallet

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

It scares me out too often if I don’t find my wallet in my bag. This is utterly the most prioritized one. I think this one matches with you too.

2. Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

Since the daylight hits the skin of my face pretty often and it usually sweats in the middle of the day, powder is absolutely my first weapon to get rid the oily face which bothers me the most.

3. Girlactik Lip Matte

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

If you are a lover of lip matte by Girlactik then we must be besties! I utterly like the matte texture, the smell, the duration time of how it goes to matte and lasts. My favorite is Allure and Demure.

4. The Body Shop Red Musk Brume Parfumeé

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

Body odor is utterly unacceptable to me. The smell of sunlight and sweat that turn into some random smell that you know too well, okay, I don’t want to explain it further.

5. Marks & Spencer China Blue Moisturizing Hand & Nail Cream

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

I really love the smooth texture of this hand cream. It smells and feels really good whenever I massage it onto hands and nails after washing hands. For more specific, it smells like the combination of floral cream and soap.

6. Tom Riddle Journal

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

This is mysteriously black journal that you might have seen in Harry Potter, which also belongs to Tom Riddle a.k.a you-know-who. I write about everything in that book. It’s not a diary. I’m not a diary person, I usually write schedules and agendas that I need to do since I think writing can make my memory longer rather than typing.

7. Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Hand Gel

Processed with VSCO with se3 preset

Before and after eating, this one is crucial.

Sooo, that’s all I have in my bag though I still have more but those are things that I really need the most and I never left them out of my radar. Did you find the same things in your bag too? If you did, wonderful! I think we are twins. Share what you have in your bag on the comment below because I would like to know about yours as well. Thanks for reading!

Casual Day Outfit

In this weekend’s blogpost, I would like to share how I rock outerwear (again). Perhaps, I have shared about how I rock my no-sleeve outerwear but this one is actually one of my favorite outfits which also suit for college or casual day out!

To me, outerwear is a piece of clothing that could embellish the casualty of my outfit. Imagine a girl wears a white shirt and jeans only, but when she puts an any kind of outerwear, her style has somehow been improved. And that’s why I am truly fond of this piece of clothing.

So, I went for lunch with friends last week. I had no idea what to wear since I didn’t have many clothes in my luggage. I kept searching and thinking about what I should wear that day. I only found a loose black tank top, loose black trouser and a knit brown outerwear. Since that discovery, I matched them into one outfit.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

It was the outfit that I hardly kept on thinking since the remaining clothes that I had was far from many. The loose black tank top and trouser looks like in the same piece, doesn’t it? I only needed to tucked the loose black tank top in the trouser and an-almost-look-alike-jumpsuit is done.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

The combination of tank top and trouser are from Cotton On (tank-top) and Colorbox (trouser). The knit outerwear that I am wearing is from H&M and the flat-shoes that I am fond of is by mango. Because I was a little bored with sling bags, I decided to wear pouch bag that I got somewhere in Penang, Malaysia. For the accessories, I only wore a watch by Alba and those cuty-tiny bracelets that you could get for 1$ – 3$ each at Cotton On.

That’s how my discovery went by when I was running out of clothes in luggage, I hope this blog-post is inspiring enough for your inspiration in dressing up. Have a great weekend! 🙂

How To Take Instagrammable Picture of Your Shoes

Remember the hashtag of #FromWhereIStand? Correct. This is where people engrave their creativity on taking picture of their shoes. And today, I’m going to tell you how I do it.

Mostly of my pictures on Instagram are mostly the picture of my shoes, the pictures of where I stand. I’ve been having a knack of taking picture of shoes since high school. Until one of my friends 0nce said, “Shoes. As always,”.

People might think that taking picture of shoes or legs is a piece of cake. But actually, not at all. You need to find the art in your picture. I won’t distinct people with the experts, amateurs or beginners. In my opinion, the skill of taking picture is grown by how often you do it until you could learn how to take the best picture in time. Basically, theses are pictures of my #FromWhereIStand,

I like putting the touch of nature to one of my favorite converses. Flowers, woods and leaves are few of those common things that I am really fond of.

Besides showing your shoes off, taking picture of #FromWhereIStand could also help you to show your bottom apparel, not limited to such as trousers, skirts, bags, scarfs or even watches.

Last but not least, don’t forget to look around the floor that you find artsy. There are some unique pattern of floors like I found above and I didn’t forget to take a few seconds for a picture, because who would regret it? 🙂

Afternoon in La Couleur Verte

Green is the color between blue and yellow.
And I am a creature between the grown leaves on the wall and the paving block.

In this weekend’s blog-post, I wanted to share how I usually create my own hijab style.

People might call me with an ‘outer-person’. Because that’s how I rock my style since I have decided to wear hijab. It has been a year to me for wearing hijab where all of my skins are covered up with cloth. The reason why I like wearing outerwear (ex: jackets, sweaters, hoodies, blazers, coats, etc) because I think a woman can wear anything they want as long as the clothes they wear don’t really fit their shape of body. Although some people say that wearing outerwear is complicated and uncomfy but to me, it describes me.

P stands for preferential because you are special.

In this picture, it might look like I am wearing a jumpsuit but actually not. It is a separated outfit where I’m wearing long black top by The Executive and a long loose trouser by Colorbox. And for the glasses, I am wearing Le Specs. It is currently my favorite one.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

And for the outer, I am wearing white outerwear by New Look. And for the flat-shoes by Mango.

That’s all for today’s blog-post! I hope my look for this weekend could inspire your style in wearing hijab. I am an outer-person, what about you? 🙂

Curated List at Spring for Spring!

I was recently introduced to Spring. Spring is a great mobile shopping which was established in 2013 in New York. I just bumped into their app and I thought I had something great to share with you all!

The most beautiful season is coming. Thus, the beauty of you is coming as well!

I decided to create a wishlist that consists of fantastic accessories which can be easily found at shopspring.com. Let’s get started with the glasses ❤

This Leonard Half Half Cream with Silver Mirrored Lenses made my eyes wide opened. This handmade glasses from Italy will very look great for Spring.

Now, we’re moving to this adorable watch by EIGHTYNINE. The EIGHTYNINE collection DNM 014 timepiece is built with an American denim strap with crisp white face and rose gold plated finish. I think it is very convenient for Spring.

I have a crush on these rose square, silver circle & gold hex midi rings from Bing Bang Jewelry. They just look as perfect as this upcoming Spring.

I love this set of 3 nested pouches by Calvin Klein. They look simple but fancy at the same time.

Scarf is something that I always wear everyday. This Claudia Scarf by Cienne NY is one of my favorites

YEAP! That’s all I have for Spring’s Wishlist at Spring. Which one is your favorite? 🙂

Keeping Up With My Own MUA

Do you ever think that your friend could be more than just a friend?
Not to be your lover but more than that.
a Make Up Artist.

I met this girl on the first day of college whom I thought this girl was a fatty but actually thinner than Kylie. You never get to choose who you’ll meet, it happens just like that and we never meet someone by accident but it must be for a reason.

I had an event that asked me to look different than usual. And the second probability, I was the one who wanted to look different because I thought it was a special event. Honestly, I’m a kind of person who doesn’t like to wear much make up on my face, I can do make up but only the natural ones.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

The girl next to me is my bestie, partner in doing silly things and absolutely my favorite MUA. Her name is Zahra, usually called Ara not Zara because if her name was Zara, I must have had one million dollar vouchers from her. She’s still the same person with the girl I met at seven-eleven, always act sarcastically funny but sadly not pretty.

That was just a joke. She’s pretty.
Really.

Back to the special event, Zahra offered herself to do my makeup. I once checked on how she does her make up on her phone and I admit it, she’s pretty good at it for an amateur. And this is the result on me,

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

And for the main makeup I used these all, the rest are still secret and will be revealed soon because I have something big to tell in the end of this blog post.

Keeping Up With My Own MUA | stylebychia

Honestly, we couldn’t stop laughing while she was doing my makeup. Glad the makeup was fine and none of us ruined it. And here are some selfies we took while waiting for the event to start,

Although she’s still learning to do makeup but I truly admire her work and I believe she will be an expert in time, that’s why I featured her on this week’s blogpost because I thought she deserved it. Keep up the good work, mate!

After Class With Fellas

Been living in a new circumstance for almost a month is totally exciting. Meeting new people, learning about new things, trying to adapt with new zone and any other stuff I’ve never done before. A few days ago, my friends and I were going live on periscope after class. The schedule was quite tiring but we had so much fun.

We walked around campus, took some pictures, acted like idiots because we only live once. And this is how I look like for college outfit,

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

Jeans, sneakers, backpack, tank top that could cover up my butt and outerwear are totally my thing. I like wearing backpack because I could take everything I need efficiently without thinking it will wreck my bag up.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

Jeans that I wore by Stradivarius, black and white tank top by et cetera, blazer by Fuelworx and sneakers by converse.

Well, I’m probably the casual one and there’s my friend who tend to look more feminine. Her name is Dian.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

I didn’t ask where she bought the outfits she was wearing but as you can see above, actually you could rock red jeans with any tops. I usually wear blue jeans and never tried to wear another color except white and crème. Her black and white stripe bag is my favorite one. Dian, may I have your bag?

Last but not least, I have one more friend I wanted to feature on this Weekly OOTD post. His name is Jaka. He’s like the most narcissistic person I’ve ever known because wherever he is, “lemme take a selfie”.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

I neither asked what outfits he was wearing, so, pardon me, my beautiful readers. Mostly, guys like casual outfits. I often find Jaka matches his t-shirt with sweater and never forgets his Levi’s backpack. And you could also wear something bright that could catch someone’s glance like Jaka’s orange sneakers.

I’m very pleased to meet my new friends. So, don’t be afraid to meet new people. I was afraid and shy to say ‘hi’ to new people as well, moreover the people I’ve never talked to before. Then I realized saying ‘hi’ is not that hard, though Taylor Swift says “I don’t want to say hi because there’ll be another goodbye”, try to say ‘hi’ and be nice to anyone, because you’ll never know, one simple word could align you to something that could change your life forever.
