Outerwear Which Fits Any Outfit That You Should Have

Hello, Peeps! Welcome back to another post of mine which I made with sincere affection for your weekly preference. I think that sounds hyperbola however I will be showing you some fashion insight which I hope you would love!

As you might have seen on my previous vlog about my very fashion haul and sexual violence, I reckon that you noticed this one of four outers I have.

Already noticed why I love it so much? Awesome! Let me applaud for you.

This gray knitted outerwear is from Stradivarius. At first I bought it, I felt so unsure because the weather in Jakarta is utterly undeniably hot but the more often I wear it, I started loving it somehow because it always matches with any kind of outfit I wear.

As I have mentioned in the video that I like wearing sleeveless outfit in the inside, in this outfit I am wearing a black tank top from Cotton On. Since I don’t want it to look that plain, I combined it with a touch of brown leather belt from Uniqlo and a black leather bag from Marc Jacobs.

Ever since I utterly fancy monochromatic outfit, I paired the whole outfit with a white jeans from Dorothy Perkins and a white sandals from VNC that I accidentally bought in Bali because the other one was broken.

Outers can give a huge influence for your outfit from nothing to something. You also can mix and match the old clothes you have in your wardrobe so it won’t stay in dusty space anymore. I hope this article can profoundly inspire your fashion insight for your weekly preference. What kind of outerwear do you like? Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

Smart Casual Outfit with Pink Magenta Bag You Can Rock Every Day!

First selfie on the cover image! That’s quite phenomenal because I never did it before. Haha!

This time I will be showing you how I rock a bright color bag. I have received so many complaints from my friends that they are confused of what outfit to wear when they have bright color bags thus they just play it safe by purchasing another bag with universal colors. Black? Perfectly true.

I always think sometimes we need to live out of the comfort zone because if we keep being busy swimming in the same pool, the more we grow up, the narrower the pool will be. I think my analogy for that one quite sucks but I believe you get my point. Okay, enough with the talks, here I will show you one of my favorite bright prominent color bag, Pink Magenta from Michael Kors!

Truthfully, I forgot what type of bag that I am wearing here but it surely is Michael Kors which my sister bought for me in Singapore. I really love this bag because its color is very brave which people would notice right away. Because of that, I decided to match up the super flashy color of the bag with something pastel and calmer color.

The blue and white stripes shirt I am wearing is Abercrombie & Fitch, I really like wearing this shirt to uni because it feels really comfortable and light to wear. The watch I am wearing is Alba.

And here is my favorite ripped jeans from Stradivarius and glistening flat shoes from The Executive. I got a very special offer for the flat shoes which I really fancy. I don’t play too much with colors on my clothing because I want my bag to lead the show all alone because if there is too many colors, people’s attention will get distracted and flustered whether to focus on the bag or the clothes.

Therefore, the ball is in your hand. For me, when I mix and match outfit, I always try to focus on one bright color that should be the spotlight. I understand that we all want to look stunning but frankly, no one really cares. Sometimes if you work it out too much, it will be too much for people too. Make your own runaway and try to play with colors. Oh, and you actually can make your look more glamorous by adding some jewelry.

If you see it closer, I am wearing a super heavy glistening silver necklace which I only got for 5$ in Australia. Most of my friends thought it was pricey but actually not at all. Thus it all depends on how you present it.

I hope this blogpost will profoundly inspire your fashion insight for your weekly preference. What prominent color that you like to be your spotlight? Let me know what you think on the comment below and have a great day!

Eco-Friendly Outfit Collections in Jakarta Fashion Week 2018

Happy Weekend, Guys! We are almost in the end of October, which means Halloween is on its way to come thought my country does not celebrate Halloween but I love the idea of Horror movies are rolling on Fox Channel. Haha!

So, I was invited by Cotton Ink, a local fashion brand from Indonesia to come to Jakarta Fashion Week 2018 at Grazia Glitz and Glam Show last week. Since I have often heard about Grazia Magazine, it made more excited to see the show.

Since the theme is “Divas in Music”, I was actually going to wear something more colorful but in the end, I decided to go back to my own fashion zone. Monochrome, as always.

I totally love my cape coat I got from Ciel. Although this cape was meant to show my collarbone and arm, since I wear hijab, I wore a blouse with bell sleeve from The Executive and trouser suit from Color Box. To elevate my super monochrome outfit, I wore a chunky necklace I got somewhere in Australia and my all time favorite high heels from Nine West. Not to forget my favorite black and white Tote Bag from Kate Spade New York.

The show should had been started around 5 pm but turned out at 6.30 pm. The delay was super outrageous since there were not seats at all and all guests were somehow wanted to stand, socialize, and drink.

However the long line up was truly worth the wait after the show had been started. The front lines were full with designers and public figures. Most of the people in the tent were mostly invited privately.

First show started with the collection of Rinda Salmun. The gothic style she was inspired from Madonna made the ambience more exciting. I spotted Wulan Guritno in a long white sleeve which covered her hands over there. I loved her make up.

And here are the designs from Kleting Titis Wigati who owns Kle The Label. The shown outfits were the results of Kle’s collaboration with Avani. The woman with big red outer in the first picture is the best look for me!

And here is the one that I have told in the beginning, the collection of Nonita Respati from Purana Indonesia is the one that could show its point of difference. The outerwear itself is made from Cassava bag with quilted sew. These collections were inspired by the look of Gwen Stefani.

Now this is the collection from Cotton Ink. All designs were inspired from Kylie Minogue. Carline Darjanto and Ria Sarwono, as founder of Cotton Ink showed some sleeveless trench outer, ruffle skirt, baby terry dress with bubbly sleeve, and palazzo trouser.

Last but not least, collections from Luna Maya with the collaboration of Hartono Gan were inspired from the look of Beyonce. The show was started with Millane Fernandez’s performance singing “Single Ladies”.

Soo, that was the updates of how fashion has grown so far in Jakarta Fashion Week 2018. Recalling that Climate Change issue has been growing rapidly, sometimes it is good to know that fashion is also taking part in combating the issue by implementing eco-friendly materials.

Which one is your favorite from the collection above? and what would you do to combat climate change? I think the last question is too academical but just share your thoughts in the comment below. Have a great weekend!

Street Style Idea: Rock Your Ripped Jeans

Hello! Ripped jeans is becoming hype again after all those years. Remember the mural trends that used to be worn by old fashioned people where this artwork is usually painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other permanent surface but now all fashion bloggers are so into it because mural is now available on apparels!

But I am not going to talk about mural trend. I am going to talk about something else as you have noticed that the title is not talking about mural. Heh!

Isn’t it funny when sometimes your friends or family make fun of your ripped jeans by saying, “Were you chased by a dog?”; “Or were you almost eaten by a dog?”.

Oh my! Thank you so much for your caring. Appreciate it so much.

Instead of bluffing about how your close people make fun of your ripped jeans, let’s get started with the way how to rock your ripped jeans!

Leather blazer and ripped jeans are always the best companion for my day out every weekend! Very casual and I barely put a lot of effort on it. This leather blazer might have been seen on my previous blogpost in the Afternoon Coffee at Giyanti Coffee Jakarta.

I am wearing this brown leather blazer from Zara, brown fine leather from Fossil, and a small black backpack from Pedro. These stuff might have also been featured earlier, but I would like to show you how I did mix and match with the new stuff I got here which is the ripped jeans I have from Stradivarius.

The aviator glasses that look like Ray Ban there is Tom Ford which I like the most and it looks very sophisticated. I completely love the design. And the shoes I am wearing is actually the mural shoes! Yay the trend that I mentioned earlier in the introduction is pretty useful, eh? I got it from Stradivarius. And look at what I found here, a very rare peacock that was open for picture! So cute!

So, that’s all for this weekend. I have been loving this ripped jeans so much though some people say that hijabis are not supposed to wear ripped jeans and supposed to wear something modest. That sounds a bit contrast with what I do but that sounds pretty great for the next discussion on my next blogpost. How do you rock ripped jeans? Tell me what you think and share your ideas with the world! Have a great weekend💙

Monochromatic Outfit in Spanish-Mexican Sphere

Hello! I hope you guys are having great weekend like I am right now. In the past few days, I spent most of my time strolling around Bandung with my lovely friends and it was totally the time I had so much fun of.

This time I’m going to bring you guys to one of the newest cafe in Bandung. The name is La Costilla!

A new Spanish-Mexican cafe with alluring sphere for insta-addicts. But I am going to tell you neither about the foods nor the cafe. Oops! Later!

I went there with my highschool friends and I decided to wear monochromatic outfit since the ambience seems kind of whitey and bluish.

And a little touch of rustic patterns for my trouser which I bought from H&M since the location seems quite rustic because of its name, La Costilla which means The Ribs? I guess so..

Full of white and perfect lighting! And they also have mini cactus backyard for insta-addicts, just like me.

If I could have stayed longer, the cactus behind my back would have shown its green light and lightened my white top from The Executive.

Believe it or not, the floral door behind my back is a way to the restrooms. I hope there was no one inside as I was blocking the way. Hehe!

Another door to the secret hermitage. Curious what’s in there? How I wish my black little bag like Lara Croft’s from Pedro had enough tools to break in.

These cactuses ain’t like in Sahara! As I stepped my shiny flat shoes from The Executive, I found out the grounds were covered with white little pebbles and sands to make the ambience looks more rustic.

So, that was my journey in the mini backyard of La Costille. Honestly I am a kind of person who always tries to match the outfit based on the place or ocassion I am going to and that is a pleasure for sure!

Thank you so much for reading and stopping by, I hope you always have a great weekend. Share your weekend with me in the comment below and tell me the most exciting time you’ve ever spent in your weekend! 🙂
