January Beatitude 2018

Here we are in the same page, surfing in the January Beatitude 2018. I am so happy that this is my very first Beatitude post in 2018. January has taught me a lot of things. Because of that, I think I will add something new in Beatitude post besides the things that I am fond of. I would love to review and share about my experiences in the past few weeks with you which I hope it would be relatable to you too!

I had 2 weeks at uni and 2 weeks off in January. I lived my life just the way I had to live. I believe every single day is never the same as yesterday or tomorrow. These are 3 things I learned in January:

Things might be rough but the ending will not be as far as you think, you just need to live it up and love life as it is.

The universe might make you smile like you are the happiest person in the world but sometimes being too happy might lead you to the other way around.

Truth falls in between. Sometimes if you unintentionally seek it, you won’t find it.

I like hearing stories from people that have been through a lot. Many things happened as always and I am grateful to be a part of it. Now let’s get started with the usual Beatitude post. Let’s check out the things that I like the most in January.

Blush Volupté from Yves Saint Laurent. This peach shade I have has been my favorite blush on because I really love how it stays super long on my cheek regardless how tight my activity is.

If you see it closer, there is a glittery section in the middle. I usually use all of it thus it will leave glittery effect yet it doesn’t look that obvious thus you don’t need to worry because it won’t look too much. And one thing that I really like from this Blush Volupté is, it smells really sweet like candy. As you apply it on your cheeks with the provided applicator, its texture is very smooth. I am sure you will also love it!

Do you remember my latest review of blk cosmetics on their lip matte for Anne Curtis’ wedding? If you do, I actually also have their eyebrow pencil. This uncomplicated beauty Eyebrow Pencil from blk cosmetics has been a really good friend of mine because it is super easy to apply.

It has two sides which each of them precisely has its own function. On the left, it has a trapezoidal pencil shape to match with the shape of usual eyebrow. On the right, it has a brush to tidy up the drawn eyebrow.

I really love using this eyebrow pencil from blk cosmetics because it is super easy to use and the result itself is perfect. I wish I had a picture of my eyebrow using this blk cosmetics but if you’d like to see the result, check out my everyday make up on this article.

Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. I am pretty sure you must know this famous comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He wrote this romance investigation book called Modern Romance where he distinguish the difference between modern and traditional romance. It is well proven that most people these days are very used to digital romance where this app that I believe you call Tinder has now a significant role in finding the love that we seek whilst in traditional romance, most old couples say that they met only a few blocks away from each other’s house. From this book, I think I could summarize that the possibility of someone to meet the love of their life will be geographically expanding since the way we think keeps improving each day which shapes our vision and the way we see the world.

Milk and Honey by Billie Marten has always been an easy listening song that I like to have it on repeat. La Lune was the first song I listened and I started to fall in love with almost every song that she sings. Milk and Honey is about a girl who starts to be weary because the man is always demanding her.

Soo, that’s all I have for January Beatitude 2018. Time flies really fast and now it’s February already. I hope this blogpost could accompany your weekend and profoundly give positive influence for your weekly preference. Thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend!

I Don’t Like Bridal All-Day Intense Matte Lipstick by blk cosmetics

Hello, Peeps! This is basically my very first blogpost in 2018. I hope you guys already understood that my previous blogpost was just a plot twist, haha! I am sorry, I love you.

However, I think it has been a while for me not to write a beauty review thus right now, I will be sharing my personal experience with blk cosmetics. Have you ever heard of it before? Let’s say you haven’t.

blk cosmetics is a beauty brand from Philippines, invented by Anne Curtis. I saw her wedding video with Erwan Heusaff and I am totally in love with the way he looked at her while she was walking by the aisle. Back to blk cosmetics, I don’t like their bridal all-day intese matte lipstick though it’s a limited edition. But I love it!

Haha! Here you are trapped in my click bait again. But seriously, I would give you some say why I am in love with them. All of them! This Bridal All-Day Intense Matte Lipstick from blk cosmetics is actually a limited edition which was made for her wedding day with Erwan. And that means, she actually wore these shades in her wedding day!

There are two shades which consist of I Do (nude pink) and Mon Amour (sensual red). Both lipsticks are packaged in a clear plastic tube where you can see that there will be a signature of Anne in the gold bullet and the difference in the logo color from black to white.

I will start with the nude pink or I Do which inspired by sweet surrenders and fresh beginnings. I love how the color combines with my lips though it kinda takes time for them to be transferred altogether. The color looks more like purple on me since my skin color is quite fair. That’s what I see on me, but sometimes the color itself depends on your skin color. It might look pinkish if you have very fair skin. And for the sensual red or Mon Amour, this one is basically my all time favorite. Mon Amour is described as the color of glamour, passion, and romance, and the perfect shade for the wedding reception. The color is more berry-like color which I think it is going to be suitable for any skin colors.

For summary, here are the swatches of these lipsticks. These two colors are quite universal to use in any skin color. They get slowly but surely get matte and the texture itself is very smooth which I believe you would crave for more touch ups. I hope this blogpost can profoundly inspire your daily beauty preference. Tell me your favorite one from these wedding lipstick collection of Anne Curtis and have a great weekend!😊
